LGSL Summer Camps
LGSL is offering two Summer Camps for 8U & 10U players: Softball Fundamentals & Pitching and Hitting Fundamentals. Softball Fundamentals is open to players that played in 8U and 10U in the Spring as well as players moving up form 6U to 8U this Fall. Pitching and Hitting Fundamentals is open to players that played 8U & 10U in the Spring. The camp dates and availability are as follows:

2025 Freedom All Stars
CONGRATULATIONS to our LGSL Freedom 10U team, 10 & U "All Star" Champions of the USSSA East's Ace of Diamonds tournament! They went 3-1 overall, defeating the Midway All Stars 8-2 in the Championship Game.
Our 10U and 12U Freedom teams were well represented in Leesburg's 4th of July Parade! Thank you to sponsors Loudoun County Orthodontics (10U) and Second Avenue Photography (12U) for your support!
Congratulations to our LGSL Freedom 10U team, 10 & U "All Star" Champions of the USSSA East's Fun In The Sun Super NIT tournament! They went 3-1 overall, defeating the Honeygo Hurricanes 8-6 in the Championship Game

The Wildcats played a hard fought game, and even turned a double play, but came up short against the Western Loudoun Lightning. Congratulations on a great season!
Congratulations to the 10U West Champions - Grizzlies
The Grizzlies played an excellent game against the Western Loudoun Racers to become the 2025 House League Champions.!!!
Senior Division Runner Up - Wolverines
The Senior Division game was close a close game between the Wolverines and the Western Loudoun Lightning with great pitching and some spectacular catches. LGSL is proud of the Wolverines for being this year's Senior Division Runner Up!!!!
LGSL Summer Camps
LGSL is offering two Summer Camps this summer:
The Softball Fundamentals camps are open to current 8U and 10U players as well as current 6U players that will be moving up to 8U in the Fall. The cost is $150 and each session will be limited to 12 players.
The Pitching & Hitting Fundamentals camps are open to current 8U and 10U players. The cost is $250 and each session will be limited to 6 players.

Who We Are
Leesburg Girls Softball League serves all girls ages 4-18 who live or attend school in the greater Leesburg area. Established in 1997, LGSL provides a high quality, fun and safe softball environment to all girls ages 4-18 regardless of ability or playing experience.
LGSL offers recreational softball for the following age groups:
- 6U T-Ball
- 8U Machine Pitch
- 10U Player Pitch
- 12U Player Pitch Pitch
- Senior Division
Team placement varies by age division. Players at the 6U level are placed on teams by the House League Director. For the 8U age division team placement is a collaborative effort between the House League Directors and the team coaches. The League uses a player evaluation and draft format for the 10U through Senior Division.
LGSL is a proud member of the Loudoun County Softball Alliance, a partnership of independent softball leagues in Loudoun County. This alliance allows each local league to offer a consistent, high level of competition and share best practices to ensure we all deliver the best softball experience possible for all Loudoun County residents conveniently in their own communities.
