Leesburg Girls Softball League (LGSL) is the premier softball organization serving all girls ages 4-18 who live in the greater Leesburg area. LGSL was established in 1997 and has been providing a high quality, fun, and instructional environment to all girls regardless of ability or playing experience ever since. LGSL offers t-ball to recreational league softball as well as all-star and travel softball for girls who are ready for a more competitive environment. This approach allows our girls to grow both socially and athletically while they learn the game of fast-pitch softball. LGSL is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
While most of our league’s operating budget is supported by player registration fees, financial assistance from local businesses is extremely helpful to our league and our continued efforts. We rely on our sponsors’ generosity to provide assistance to girls who may not otherwise be able to play. It also allows for additional training, equipment and opportunities for our young athletes.
Each family is expected to contribute at least 4 hours to the league through coaching, acting as an age-level commissioner, participating on the Board, helping with committees (uniforms, equipment, special events, fundraising), or working in the concession stand. Parents who also sponsor a team are exempt from volunteering. Families who are not able or willing to volunteer may choose to pay the opt-out fee ($50). The fees may be donated to local High School softball "Big Sister" teams, in exchange for their help in the concession stand.
Revolution players and parents: Use this form to pay any team fees easily online via credit card. The fees that you pay here will be automatically transferred to your team's individual checking account by the LGSL treasurer.
