Middle School Softball Tryout Registration Now Open
Registration for Middle School Softball Tryouts is now open. There is a $170 fee charged at registration. If your player would not make their Middle School team, the $170 registration fee will be refunded (credit card processing fees are non-refundable). Tryouts are scheduled for February 17, 2025 at the Revolution Indoor Facility on South Street in Leesburg.

LGSL House League Winter Warm Up Clinic
To participate in the clinic, players MUST be registered for the 2025 Spring House League Season both registrations can be done at the same time). Due to space constraints, and for the safety of the players and instructors, registration is being capped at 60 participants.

Spring 2025 House League Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for the Spring 2025 House League Season. LGSL offers the opportunity for girls ages 4 to 18, regardless of playing ability, to learn and enjoy the game of softball.
Early Bird Registration runs through December 31, 2024, and Regular Registration ends February 9, 2025. Registration fees are as follows:
- Early Bird 6U - $150
- Early Bird 8U through Senior Division - $180
- Regular Registration 6U - $165
- Regular Registration 8U through Senior Division - $200
Any registration received after February 9, 2025 will incur a $50 late fee.
If you are registering more than one player, LGSL offers a $20 sibling discount. Financial assistance is also available and can be applied for during the registration process.
Credit card processing fees will be added at check out, however if you pay by e-check, no processing fees will be charged.

How do I know what age group to register my player for?
LGSL has six age divisions, 6U T-ball, 8U Machine Pitch, 10U Kid Pitch, 12U and Senior Division. The registration system will automatically place your player in the appropriate age group based on their birth year. A player's age division is determined by the their age on December 31 prior to the season they are registering for (for the Spring 2025 season that will be December 31, 2024).
Who We Are
Leesburg Girls Softball League serves all girls ages 4-18 who live or attend school in the greater Leesburg area. Established in 1997, LGSL provides a high quality, fun and safe softball environment to all girls ages 4-18 regardless of ability or playing experience.
LGSL offers recreational softball for the following age groups:
- 6U T-Ball
- 8U Machine Pitch
- 10U Player Pitch
- 12U Player Pitch Pitch
- Senior Division
Team placement varies by age division. Players at the 6U level are placed on teams by the House League Director. For the 8U age division team placement is a collaborative effort between the House League Directors and the team coaches. The League uses a player evaluation and draft format for the 10U through Senior Division.
LGSL is a proud member of the Loudoun County Softball Alliance, a partnership of independent softball leagues in Loudoun County. This alliance allows each local league to offer a consistent, high level of competition and share best practices to ensure we all deliver the best softball experience possible for all Loudoun County residents conveniently in their own communities.
